Live coding refers to the creation and modification of algorithms with a creative purpose in real time often in the presence of a physical or virtual audience. The community is diverse and seeks to engage in a wide cross-section of artistic practices including but not limited to music, audiovisual creation, performance, robotics, dance, scientific research, and education.
The International Conference on Live Coding (ICLC) is an annual conference that aims to expand and strengthen the reach of the live coding community and its practice. The 2026 edition of ICLC will be the 10th in its history, after: Leeds, UK (2015), Hamilton, Canada (2016), Morelia, Mexico (2017), Madrid, Spain (2019), Limerick, Ireland (2020), Valdivia, Chile (2021), Utrecht, Netherlands (2023), Shanghai, China (2024), and the forthcoming Barcelona, Spain (2025).
For information about the current and previous editions, see: https://iclc.toplap.org/
Please make your proposal brief, while being sure to get across what makes your proposal distinctive. If we feel there are missing details, we’ll be in touch with further questions.
